As the house is well proportioned and with its 6-8 beds, there is room for the large family or larger groups.

More about the cottage

In wonderfully rural surroundings you will find this cozy cottage.

Experience Småland as it should be in this spacious yet wonderfully charming little red cottage. With a lush garden made for children to explore!

You are close to a lot with only 25-30 km to places like Ljungby and Markaryd, but at the same time you get the peace of a cottage in the country. About 1200m away you will find Mäen's bathing area, a really cozy bathing area with barbecue area, bathing jetty, changing room and toilets. If you travel with your bikes, it's a really cozy ride through the countryside down to the bathing area, which the owners recommend for a bike ride.

The house has a large spacious kitchen and a large living room. There are a total of three bedrooms in the cottage with 2 single beds in each. If desired, there are also 2 extra beds (folding beds that can be used.) Two of the bedrooms are on the upper floor, which has a slightly lower ceiling height and slanted ceiling.

This house is perfect for the big family, or maybe the family bringing mother or grandparents or maybe two families traveling together. It would also be perfect for the group that travels and wants to fish in Småland's lovely lakes. If you buy a fishing license in the nearby lake, you can fish in a number of other lakes in the nearby area as well. You can easily buy a fishing license online in, for example, the iFiske app.

It is also possible to rent a boat in the same lake, both per day and per week. The boat is booked before arrival and paid in cash on site or in advance to the owner.

There is also a walking trail in the area, so don't miss out on a walk and discover. The path leads you into a cozy forest where there is, for example, a cozy barbecue area. Traveling here in the summer and experiencing nature and the lake then can be difficult, but the cabin is also an excellent starting point for those who might want to pick berries and mushrooms, or as previously mentioned want to fish, but also for those who travel to the area for hunting.

Here you get a cozy starting point for your holiday with plenty of space for lovely days in the garden, several places for meals outside, a lovely glass-enclosed veranda that can be accessed from the outside for the slightly cooler evenings.

1-4 persons: 1000 SEK/night or 5000 SEK/week

5-8 persons: 1200 SEK/night or 6000 SEK/week

Water and electricity are included in the price. Since we get our water from our own well, we ask that you use it sparingly during the summer.

Accommodation between June and August

1-4 persons: 6500 SEK/week or €650/week

5-8 persons: 7500 SEK/week or €750/week

Accommodation from January to May and from September to December

1-4 persons: 1000 SEK/night or 5000 SEK/week or €100/night or €500/week

5-8 persons: 1200 SEK/night or 6000 SEK/week. €120/night or €600/week.

Water and electricity are included in the price. Since we get our water from our own well, we ask that you use it sparingly in the summer.

Rowing boat on Lake Mäen

Daily rental: 200 SEK (€20)

Weekly rental: 500 SEK (€50)

Boat, oars, and life jackets are included. Life jackets are located in the wardrobe in the ground-floor bedroom.

Payment is in cash on site or in advance to the owner.
